Bob Loftus

Bob is currently owner of EMTChief & Associates, an EMS education & consulting business in Marion, IL. A retired Chief Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force Medical Service, He has been a 35-year volunteer BLS instructor, instructor-trainer and/or Regional Faculty in 8 states and is currently BLS Regional Faculty for the Central/Southern Illinois Region.

Loftus is a member of the State of Illinois ECC Task Force and is an active member of the Illinois EMT Association. In May 2006, he graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a B.S. degree in Workforce Education Development and then started a Master's degree program.

Bob is a charter member of NAEMT and it's I/C and Military Divisions. Currently serving in his third term as Seceratary, he has held numerous leadership positions in NAEMT including serving on its Board of Directors and Board of Governors. He has filled the positions of Chairperson, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer for both the I/C and the Military Divisions. He also served a two-year stint as Vice Chair of the Paramedic Division.
