A resident of Deltona, Florida, Todaro's career spans 30 years years, having held positions as Field Paramedic, EMS Supervisor, EMS Field Training Officer, EMS Training Coordinator, Senior Coordinator of Medical Quality Assurance & Education, Flight Nurse/Paramedic, ER and Trauma Nurse and EMT/Paramedic Instructor. He holds Associate in Science Degrees in Paramedics and Nursing and currently is completing a BA in Business Administration with emphasis in Health Care Administration. Currently he is the Director/ Chief Operating Officer of the Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center and the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation in Orlando, Florida. He holds an adjunct faculty position at the National Fire Academy in EMS Management and was named, the 1995 Florida EMS Educator of the Year by the Florida Department of Health, and 2003 Continuing Education Instructor of the Year by the Florida Association of EMS Educators. He is the past President of the Florida Association of EMS Educators and a past board member of the National Association of EMS Educators.
